Job purpose

Primary support of the Controller for month-end close, account analysis, G/L account integrity and audit support.

Key responsibilities and accountabilities

  1. Perform month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing activities
  2. Calculation and preparation of journal entries for expense, accruals and variance recordings
  3. Tracking and maintenance of accrual accounts
  4. Preparation and analysis of balance sheet account reconcilements
  5. Reviewing, investigating and correcting inconsistencies in financial activities to ensure accuracy of recorded entries
  6. Consolidation and inter-company transactions
  7. Ensure accuracy of financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP and compliance to internal policies
  8. Audit support for auditors

Requirements

Must have a minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment, and a BS in Accounting, master’s degree a plus. Strong analytical and technical skills; verbal and written communication skills; and strong Microsoft Office skills required. Able to work with all levels of the organization. Knowledge of U.S. GAAP. Detail oriented and able to work with minimal supervision. Also, must be highly ERP-literate; experience with JD Edwards and Fixed Asset System experience a plus.

CNC EDM Sink (AC) Machinist

The ideal candidate must have a minimum of five years’ experience in setup and operating CNC sinkers; must be capable of running multiple machines and holding tight tolerance and fine finishes; must have the ability to perform own measurements to verify results; Makino and Charmilles experience is a plus; must have a HS Diploma/GED, and pass a drug test. Expectations include troubleshooting problems such as DC Arching, Electrode buildup and pitting, and take corrective action with little or no assistance.

2nd Shift available: 3PM – 11PM
Training will be on 1st shift: 7AM – 3PM
